turn off or disable Windows Updates in the Windows 10 Control Panel. There are
some tricky ways to disable Windows 10 updates. Today we're going to show you
the easiest way to turn off or Disable the Windows Updates feature in Windows
10. First turn on your computer, after starting of your Windows then press
Windows Logo + R simultaneously. A run command box will now open in front of
you.
Enter your Services.msc here.
The Windows Services window will
open in front of you. Here you will see the details of all Windows services on
the right. You need to search here an option which named is Windows updates if
you are facing problem to search this option then you can click W for your
keyboard here, you'll see a list of services whose names begin with W. Scroll
down the list a bit and you will see an option called Windows Updates.
Open this option by double
clicking. Here you will see an option called Startup Status. This is a point
where you can control your Windows updates feature you can easily Disable or
enable Windows 10 updates form here. This option is pre-enabled or disabled. If
the service is enabled and you want to turn off Windows Updates, disable it. And
if Windows Updates is off and you want to re-enable it, remove the inactive one
and enable it Then just below this option will be the service status option,
here if the service is start then stop it. Then click on the application below
and then click OK.
