Federal Minister for Energy Sardar
Owais Ahmad Khan Leghari while addressing a press conference on the occasion of
launch of the app said that the government has fulfilled its promise to control
power load shedding and increase production, recovery of dues and prevention of

system will come from Neelum Jhelum Hydropower Project and 1410 MW from Tarbela
Four Expansion Project. The added power will reach 11,000 MW.
Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz
Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer, Power Information Technology, said that this
mobile application has been developed in Urdu and English languages which can
be downloaded from Android mobile phone through Play Store. He said that in
order to get the information, one has to feed the reference number which will
reveal all the details. By giving the reference number of the bill, the details
of the bill for the last 12 months can also be obtained while alternative bill
can also be issued.
According to the documents, 64911
complaints were lodged against LESCO on Roshan Pakistan app, in which
complaints of overbilling, non-replacement of faulty meters, behavior of
officers and bribery by employees were registered. Consumers while in South
Circle Defense 18496 users lodged complaints.
